Abstract: 8-hour compensation of the Earth magnetic field causes parasympathetic branch activation of the heart sinus node autonomic regulation. Changes in heart rate variability parameters have been studied, reflecting a significant decrease in sympathetic influences on heart rate under hypomagnetic conditions, in contrast to imitation exposure. Changes in the human opioidergic system may be a potential mechanism.
