The planning of interplanetary missions makes it important to search for indicators reflecting the state of functional reserves of the human organism during adaptation to weightlessness. The paper discusses the results obtained during the approbation of a new locomotor test in a group of cosmonauts who performed a six-month flight and for a cosmonaut who performed a one-year flight. The state of the cardiorespiratory and neuromuscular system was assessed when performing the standard locomotor test ‘Individual Strategies’ on a treadmill. Sufficient stability of the parameters characterising the state of the cardiovascular system in long and ultra-long space flights was shown. The depth of functional rearrangements in the cardiorespiratory system after a one-year mission did not exceed the changes after six-month missions. An important practical result is the possibility for a cosmonaut to run at a speed of 15 km/hour on the ninth day after a one-year space flight.
