Реферат:
Assessing the psychological state of individuals and crews during extended work in remote and harsh environments presents a significant challenge in occupational and space psychology. This study, conducted through a scientific collaboration between the Institute of Biomedical Problems and the Institute of Psychology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, investigated the psychological states of participants in the isolation experiment simulating a short-term (14-day) interplanetary space flight. The materials for the study included the data of the psychological and psychophysiological assessment of experiment participants as well as their daily video recordings. These recordings were analyzed for emotional expression across three modalities: facial expression dynamics, vocal acoustic features, and characteristics of transcribed speech. The proposed approach identified eight distinct clusters of participant states. Six of these clusters corresponded to individual participant states, while the remaining two grouped subgroups exhibiting similar psychological state indicators. These clusters demonstrated differences in the polarity of emotional expressions within and across modalities, and showed strong agreement with the scales of the emotional intelligence testing completed by the participants. The findings of this research will further enable the study of adaptation processes in long-duration isolation experiments, as well as the development of automated technologies for diagnosing the psychophysiological state of individuals through video interview analysis and predicting adaptation success.
