P. Lashukov presented the prelaunch offgas test process and results for MLM, conducted in June 2021, after 100% of cargo was loaded. A purge was conducted with clean air at room temperature prior to the start of the OGT. Samples were collected at t=1,3,9,17,24,36,48,60 and 72hrs. Indicator tubes for CO, THC, NH3, Supelco sample cartridges for formaldehyde (H2CO) and Tenax TA sorbent tubes were used. Results show no CO, NH3 or H2CO in any of the samples. T value driver was trimethylsilane (TMS). The total air pollution of the MLM module at the end of ground preparation complied with the requirements of GOST R 50804-95, SSP 50094, SSP 50260. The introduction of additional air purification in the MLM module after docking made it possible to reduce the total air pollution in the module by 25% and comply with regulatory requirements of GOST R 50804-95, SSP 50094, SSP 50260. It ensured the safety of the crew's first entry. First ingress AK-1M samples, analyzed months later, showed the contamination was far less than predicted.
