Реферат: The work analyzes changes in the transcriptional activity of genes which are known to be involved in the epigenetic regulation of multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) in vitro depending on the level of oxygenation. DNA microarray analysis showed the most pronounced change in gene expression under 3% О2, including genes responsible for the MSCs epigenetic regulation. Fewer genes changed the expression under 1% О2 and minimal response was observed under 5% О2 as referenced to standard culture conditions (20% О2). Largest numbers were shown in the genes responsible for the histone regulation, while the genes whose products regulate chromatin, DNA and RNA were represented in a smaller number. Thus, the degree of hypoxia can modify the response of MSCs at the level of epigenetic regulators.
